@dockerdan Try the dark theme coupled with Jetbrains PHPStorm or the Material Theme as a plugin, you'll change your choice
-
Well! You don't have to love it, you just have to use it. Even SASS, Compass, LESS, etc. all interpretes or compiles to CSS.
-
Dark Theme is good. It consumes less and have less effect on the eyes. Though, I switched based on the mood and interest but I'm more a Dark Theme fan.

@doz87 Stop bitching or complaining about what you don't use. I believed every OS has its ups and downs. If not, everyone will just stick to one. I can give you enough reasons why I am not a MacOS fan but I see no reason for that.
Maybe Microsoft is wrong about the approach to the windows updates but at least, it's never wrong to roll out an update once they see fit. -
@doz87 Most of these updates are just security updates. So I don't see how that will break the functionality of your project or whatsoever.
-
@starless Please, read through my reply.
You can postpone the installation by Hibernating your system instead of shutting down or restarting if you know you don't want any interruption in between your project except you're the type that have to restart all the time.
Updates has helped solved and corrected a lot of issues being faced with.
I can't force you to accept but there has been a lot of unnecessary bitching about windows update up to a point you'd ask if many of them are really using it. -
@starless That's false. Windows 10 updates downloads on the background (The only thing you have no control over) but you can decide not to let it update asap by postponing it.
Another tweak to avoid the update installation is by Hibernating your system because it has been made to install during restart or shut down.
The only time updates takes 15-20 mins was when a major update was rolled out. I guessed last December or so.
I still don't see why you wouldn't want to update your OS though! -
@doz87 I haven't had any issues working on Windows environment either on programming or designs. GitHub, Python, Photoshop, Illustrator, Java, Jetbrains apps, Ruby, PHP, etc. works flawlessly on it. Windows 10 even makes it easier.
I'd rather go Linux instead of Mac. Though, each to their own. -
@starless Don't know why everyone is scared of updates. Windows informs you when it is ready to update and you can skip it till when necessary.
-
@helloworld I ain't assuming. Go to most Web development websites or blogs. Apple products are being splashed on our faces as if it's the only product being used out there. Even wireframes, templates, etc. comes mostly on Apple products.
-
@linuxxx Yeah! Thanks...
-
@linuxxx Hope no problem with that? Saw the app on Playstore yesterday night and decided to try it out. It's been fun though. Wish, I know about it before now.
-
@linuxxx I'm from Nigeria, in the city of Lagos to be precise.
-
@linuxxx No problem man! I heard Signal is more secured though but unfortunately, in my country, it's usage is like Zero. I enjoyed Telegram for its features aside from the security stuff.
Always know this, "The only thing more secured is what isn't let out of your mind yet."
Have fun!!! -
@linuxxx I ain't calling you a hater but maybe you should get down to the core users of Telegram and ask questions.
People tends to forget "Secret Chats" during their discussions then which appears to be encrypted and most of the articles were over a year ago. Recently, more have been done to make it more secure and reliable.
Privacy on Whatsapp is like a dream that'll never be real. Their approach is unreal, more reason why you have the likes of GBWhatsapp, Whatsaap Gold etc, correcting this issue which to me is still a coerce. -
@linuxxx I can't trust Whatsapp after being owned by Facebook and that has to rely on Google's drive as a cloud to store users chats. Maybe you need to get more from core Telegram users instead of being misled by backbitters. Everyone from the onset was afraid of Telegram due to the fact that it has most of his base users in Pakistan, Iran etc...
-
@linuxxx And please read the users comments on that post you linked me to. Honestly, most of these bloggers are just plain on their reports or posts. More-so, that was almost a year ago and most of what's written in it is shabby. There's secret chat then different from a private chat which covers the encryption part. Recently, encryption has been activated for all chats and users even the newly activated Calls.
And who's FBI to keep requesting for an encryption, when they are the realest scam and threat to everyone. I smell hypocrisy from that. -
@linuxxx Their encryption is far better compared to Whatsapp to be fair. Whatsapp has so many unsecured features especially when Facebook got their hands on it. Telegram considered a lot recently, even they adopted a two-way sigin-in.
-
@iAmNaN Thanks. Everyone seems awesome here.
-
@linuxxx it's more secure and runs through encryption. Newer source code has been released last week. It was delayed because there's not any important updates but this time around call features has been added. Don't have much people using Signals in my country presently
-
@linuxxx lol! Whatsapp ain't better AFAIK! Maybe you should try Telegram
-
@billgates oh! My bad. I misread. Ooops!!!
-
@billgates That's a good spec. My Oneplus X almost the same but ain't 64gb
-
@billgates I'm replying to his comment about using his current phone for 10 years. That's somehow to me impossible.
-
@linuxxx 10 years? May God help you bro.
-
Xposed is not yet available for Android Nougat and I don't think the developers are finding it easy. I missed it alot but fortunately enough, I found most of the modules I used as a standalone app.
-
Sounds like there are no tests. Tests explain the purpose and if well written will catch anything he screws up. That is how newbs learn. Let him break stuff. People also need accountability.
