Mind blown
-
@Codex404 yeah I know technically it's true but humans can't tell a difference
-
@BobbyTables hahah that's a good one too
-
And just to clear things up. I'm not a fronted dev. Just didn't agree with the statement. It's basically like saying a car can look like shit people will buy it because the motor is handcrafted
-
@LynxMagnus True. But this doesn't make backend more important then ui and Frontend stuff
-
@AlmondSauce well your point is good, but I don't think people will use a app looking like crap in the first place. So does it really matter if you're backend can break at some point if you don't have enough users?
-
@PaladinRevenant I agree with you. A backend is very important. But it's not more important than the ui.
I could do a shitty backend and the user would like the app based on the ui and ux as long as the backend is performant. -
@deviloper im with you on that one but his statement was that backend is more important. I don't agree with this statement. A good performance Backend is essentially no discussion but for the user it's not important if the calculation you are doing is solved in a ultra complex way or not
-
@Sahilkhandelwal no thanks, I'm a "Mongo" and will go lay down on my "couch"
-
@alexbrooklyn well basicly:
- He has a lot of experience (classic argument)
- The user will sooner or later feel it if the backend is shitty (what the actual fuck?) -
Don't know how to "react" to this xD
-
@deviloper hahah nice one.
-
Rip
-
@glaconbleu great sounds good I will send it right now. Thank you very much
-
@jOkEr-jAsOn no 😂 I didn it on purpose
-
@heyheni yeah thanks for the suggestion. I have already done this for the supported languages from deepl
-
@C0D4 your right I posted this a week ago. But it didn't get much traffic so I decided to post it again 😂😂
-
@glaconbleu sound great how can I send you the translation files?
-
Well I'm not seeing a sentence saying it's a unpaid internship so I'm not mad. But the requirements are stupid xD
-
Is it just me or do the devs using higher level languages are easily impressed with things live seeing you gui as you change your code? Its like they are living in the 2000s do you guys even see what's going on in the dev world?
-
@irene yeah you are very cool congrats 🤦♂️
-
@irene then you are doing something wrong xD
-
@irene yeah right now it's not but you can't argue that VS code does some. Things like debugging that sublime. Is capable of it ouf the box
-
@irene Just go check it out yourself there a a lot of things VS code is becoming more of a ide and sublime is still more of a text editor
-
@irene yeah it has but it's not as near as flexible and complex as VS code.
You can do so many thing in VS code which sublime text is not even capable of -
@irene you are right it consumes a lot of ram much more then it need to but comparing VS code to sublime is like comparing a normal car to a supercar with a lot of customizations
-
Hey everyone just released the first version of the snippet manager.

@filthyranter Yeah that sounds logical. But I thought maybe it is some kind of word joke 😂
