I like the way you address a problem. You seem like a pretty balanced person and for that reasons i am not worried at the good things that will come to you ;)
A bit wishy washy but thats the feeling i have :) -

So fucking amazing.i overdose myself with coffee and im smashing my keyboard at work like a religious fuck in trance :) kicking my leg to the t.t.t.t.t.t.t.t.t.t.t.t.t -
Agreed with above. Reading the post the first mistake was “squashing develop into master” ;)
Raises alarm bells because ultimately you are pushing changes to master which should be a big no no. -
I would like to do it. They are on the brink of legalizing pot in nz. Probably mushrooms might be next.
I do think it helps. There is a strong theory on how the brain doubled in size in such a small time that it is the part of the human body that evolved faster than any part in record time. That was registered between the time where fauna and changed quickly and apes at the time had less trees and more high grass. Making them an easier target to predators.
Terrence mckenna and his brother have a strong argumentation for this theory and imho it makes a lot of sense. -

@kleopi i wonder how much damage is caused by drunks. But how could you know eho they really are?

While i agree there are situations where its fine imo.
Im front end and write tests for react.js and our back end is ruby on rails. We use fixtures to populate the BE data for our tests which means i write some ruby. Having had no experience to begin with and they having just introduced factories i was a bit baffled by the syntax. A couple of times seeing some one write them in front of me and you have your started help to attempt it yourself. -

There was an article about a japenese company who charged their employees or manager like 200 dollars an hour for meeting rooms.
Meetinges declined and productivity increased.
No joke -
It looks lkke area 51?
-
My experience (only about 6month in agile methodologies). If specs are well done and stories are well written you have less meetings.
Meetings tend to reflect poor sprint preperation (not anticipating side effect of features and their implementation, forgetting parts of features kind of stuff.) -
@Nanos i think there may be better avenues. Trust and good team culture is important and unless some one was really toxic i dont think id ever complain for some one to be fired. Either management notices it or they suck and im probably at the wrong company anyways. Its not my job to decide who is good for the team or not. And regardless this guy has a spot on the team its more dealing in the best way in a bit if a delicate situation so that the team culture stays positive.

@OneOfSimpleMind gave me a bit of a sweat there. Though i think ive been honest with him, not mentionning the issue directly but telling him i had patience issues. Though i had not the right words to explain it properly.
However following your posts and comment history, your out of character. Id be very surprised if that was you:) -
@Nanos i dont want them fired.i like the dude. But its fustrating.
-
What an asshole.

Cool !rant
But about the sharing knowledge. I am in this position where i am training this person. He is new. He knows what he is doing but ni proficient in our stack.
I am a hard worker and i dont mind taking the time. However. He sits next to me and while im working hard he hangs out on his phone quite a lot then works a bit. He gets things done but not a lot. Then he asks me questions and i loose patience and tell him to figure it out by himself. If i saw him working hard i would help but i don't like taking my time which i put effort in towarfs results when some one is putting probably 60% of what im doing and then asks questions.
