So its strange to me, I can't seem to find a trustworthy method of converting android audio to microphone input to another android or linux device.

I found this thing called AudioRelay but I have some doubts.

Who knew there were so many goddamn duplicate file extensions spanning generations....

There is literally nothing to do but rate likelihood.

Does anyone know of a statistical database that tracks the appearance of certain file types and their frequency based of real analysis of active computer systems ?

Some of these types are pretty vague and fileinfo repeats some things. grr.

Of course, overthinking here, one would have to also look at what kind of files appear in the same directory in certain cases.

I've been sitting here staring at extension types and I wonder, what if I had a partial file with partial data ?

In general one could say that in every case where say a header is missing that is ALWAYS going to have some identifying characteristics even given a characteristic statistically frequent pattern of data, that there is always a null value that appears as total chaos.

But I wonder, is there a way beyond simply trying every goddamn possible combination of things until meaningful data is extracted to identify a file by its content when part of that content that is usually used for such a purpose, is missing ?

What kind of application or technology would be required for this ? Certainly not neural networks, but obviously some kind of ai right ?

So I believe in replicated effort.
I like the idea of multiple groups of people creating or engaging in the very same endeavor at any moment as long as intermediaries between these people visit on each project and determine its merits.

Examples could be data gathering, or development or research.

Example maybe being multiple people operating methods of altitude heightmap gathers or canvas imaging and publishing the data.

Or canvassing neighborhoods for new construction.

Or as in my case creating a nice handy dandy file types database for use as lookup table values in my application.

You know what I hate however ?

HAVING TO DO IT ALL THE HELL OVER AGAIN NO MATTER HOW QUICK OF A TASK ONCE I'VE DONE THE TASK ITS LIKELY NOT GOING TO GET MUCH BETTER THE SECOND OR THIRD GODDAMN TIME AROUND !!!!

so i was in colorado
walking past this goat ranch.
at least I thought it was just a goat and sheep ranch.
it was some kind of dog daycare with an attached petting zoo of scary looking animals.
so it was late afternoon.

i had some food left and stopped to feed the animals which included some of the largest damn goats i ever saw, i mean towering goats.

suddenly, this big horrific reptile like head with red eyes appeared over the fence, and i screamed in fright, to which a giant fucking bird ran away several feet.

motherfuckers had a goddamn emu in with the goats !!
