This literally happened to me 3 weeks ago.
Wasted 2 and a half hours travelling 66 kilometers, and then had to wait for another 1 hour, just for an interview that only took 2 minutes to ask me about things that are already on my resume, the funny thing is that the guy interviewing me was discussing something with a girl next to him during the interview, so unprofessional.
Then he was like: "we'll call you by the end of the week, but if we don't then I'm sorry"
Me thinking : "Well you better not call me ever again you little sh**" -
That error code though. DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
-
I literally just read the announcement, FeelsBadMan
-
You missed "Server management and maintenance" in the (backend) section.
-
@bittersweet You're right.
I'm the one who ends up making decisions, but I always feel guilty and not happy with half the code I write.
I always question myself "is there a better way to do this" and sometimes I know that there are better ways but I just don't know how.
I started programming about 3 years ago and I still have a lot to learn.
I've been thinking about looking for another place that has senior people and a proper team leader, and I don't care about whether I'll be working or interning there.
But I'm scared that I might regret that decision.
This is my first first time working at a company. -
I would love to ask questions like that, IF I HAD SOMEONE TO ASK THAT IS.
I'm a junior backend developer and my company decided to fire the other 2 backend developers after 3 months of me working there to save money.
They didn't even say a word to me about them leaving. -
Y u love snakes
-
pffft, my boss does that in production 😭😭
-
That's some next level abstraction.
-
I couldn't agree more, I've been trying to make the company I work for to switch to linux/nginx or apache for 5.months now 😏
-
C++ is outdated! Hah, I'm learning C over here.
-
I used vim for around 3 months without even knowing that there's an insert mode, I used to mash random buttons until I was able to type. 😂
-
That actually makes me feel better.
cuz no matter how much I learn I still feel like I don't know shit. -
Single threaded with asynchronous nonblocking IO.
-
jQuery is https://github.com/cbrandolino/...
-
You don't like it, don't use it then, its so simple.
-
Technically you do butcher animals, you kill bugs don't ya 🤔.
-

-
@ScriptCoded I only have a C:/ on a SSD and I only shift + delete, I paid the price many times 😭
-
I immediately set every WiFi network I connect to as metered. I haven't updated windows in about a year. Every single update ends up breaking some shit and forcing me to reinstall windows.
-
At least your RAM is getting eaten by something you're using. I always get fucked by Antimalware service executable.
-
Reminds me of the first time I used vim.
I used to mash random buttons to go into insert mode. -
When you do too much rubber duck debugging and you reached a point where the ducks are taking over.
-
@200OK I was gonna comment the exact same thing. I started interning at a small company a month ago, they only use laravel for backend development so I had to agree on learning it in order to stay.
It's not that bad, eloquent is amazing.
I still love node though. -
Webpack ?
