@gitlog thanks for tagging and letting me know...
My rant was featured on reddit... Yipee... 😇 -
@vnwonah Ur rant never came in my feed. I posted that on my own. I swear I didn't copy...
-
@World ahaha...
-
@dsteiner fucking QA team won't allow to go to prod directly...
-
bd = cd ..
iwant = sudo apt-get install
bye = exit
gs = git status
gp = git pull
gcm = git checkout master
test = /var/www/html/test
Etc.... I have lots of alias to fasten things... -
I need that guy... Please... I am struggling to understand the shitty code I have to manage these days...
-
Oneplus 3t... No root required. Gives full dark theme...
-
@leosuncin I know there are existing applications. But they lack features and I want to overcome them to reach masses. Make the system very user friendly.
-
@vertti I would be hosting on my ec2 instance and would also give source code on github if u want to host on your own website.
I am not thinking to make money out of it. Just an open source project. At least it might add weight in my portfolio.... -
@linuxxx user will have to remember the passphrase and will enter it every time they want to access their stuff...
-
@linuxxx will be using AES for encryption... The key will be a user provided passphrase. And the server won't store the passphrase. User will enter passphrase and it will be locally saved in their browser...
-
@linuxxx thanks... I have made the website, need to buy a domain and then start working on the main code...
-
@trubesv thanks for the info.
-
@gswebspace there will be android app eventually. But for start I would focus on making the web portal stable and working. The web app will be responsive, so can be used from mobile, iPad, tablets easily.
-
Guy is using windows... That's y there is bug in prod....
-
@tetrapack it's secret. Can't disclose. It's for a private bank...
-
@nin0x03 @aayusharyan @fun2code @tanmayvijay @theScientist it was browser based PDF signing using digital certificate based on government issued ID (aadhar card in my case).
-
@ClemFrieckie whatever happens... Lot of rants in coming weeks...
Mostly I will try to convince the co-founder to reassign me to some other project... -
@alecjd it's like order management system... But it has CRM, order generation, approve order feature for higher authorities, invoice generation and processing order. It has everything in itself... Like a large blob...
-
@alecjd @ClemFrieckie that code is very horrible... I can't even explain.... There are js files of 5000+ lines... They have redefined MVC model with their own black magic standards...
I cloned the project today, it took 20 mins just to clone it to my pc. FYI my internet speed is 20mbps. -
My colleague puts Google.com in omnibox of Google Chrome and then searches... Beat that....
-
I thought I was the only one who gets pissed off for getting disturbed every 5-10 mins... Fellow devs keep coming up how to do this, in which file is the code for this feature, in which table is this value stored?
I know our documentation is crap but still try to find yourself or else you won't learn.... -
@Froot hahaha... People want to automate and skip everything...
-
@lotd why would I need a reverse shell. I won't even touch that server with a ten foot pole. If I found the vulnerability, someone would have found and exploited it too. And God knows what malware or logic bomb that attacker might have planted...

Free food, coffee and beer at my office.
They lock the beer fridge after 7pm though. -
Vs code
Mysql workbench
Chrome
Slack
And terminal sometimes.
P.S. I am a web developer. -
@paralegalseagul yeah... New tech lead is pain in the ass... He joined after me... And since I just graduated can't switch jobs now... Looks bad on resume... Have to tolerate him for at least 6 months more...
-
@Thewebdev had parrot for a while. It is very difficult to use. No search, have to go in menu and find everything manually. And finding packages are also difficult. Wasted 3 hrs finding way to add Ubuntu repository in apt.
