Here in Canada we don't get a Netflix free trial 😕

Edge is actually extremely fast now, only lacks in functionality. Chrome has always been the most reliable tho, no matter how many tabs I have open, it always reopen them correctly again. Can't say the same of Edge or Firefox...
-
What about just using an installer? Is it easier? Or should I install Arch manually?
-
Did you think us Apple-Bashers bash Apple just cuz? Apple is garbage and overpriced. It's a great mystery how people still buy Apple garbage
-
Although I only have the 5, the gaming battery life on this phone is insane, it only depletes slightly faster than normal usage. Especially when you compare it to other flagships when gaming
-
Man... That reminds me of the good old days of easy high school math...
Now I have questions like this... -
No offense, but simply knowing a lot of languages doesn't mean much. Languages are quite easy to learn compared to all the rest of the stuff that programming is about. I thought languages were a pretty big deal too, but programming is Sooo much more than that. There's efficiency (sorts, trees, hash tables), there's data structures, there's writing clean code for later debugging, and much more.
For example, the reason the popular emulators are, well, so popular, is because they are efficient. Nobody wants an emulator that barely runs. A programmers skill is not measured by the amount of languages they can use, that's a terribly common misconception. It's how well they can use the code that they can use, because that skill is universal in Programming.
Just my 2 cents as a second year Computer Science student -
Basically happened to me once. I was waiting for my order, and suddenly my number disappeared from the screen, and I've already been waiting for so long. And after finally getting my order they even had my fries size wrong. I was so mad, I rated them one star on Google.
My friends still make fun of me for that xD -
For mice, nothing beats Logitech imo
-
I've learned from experience not to lie

Ayee, 745m user, I greet you as a 860m user.
I'ma bout to install Arch myself, don't think I'll be installing steam anytime tho. I have haven't used Linux that much in the past. School work tends to keep me busy -
@Cyanite
What I always find most about those apps is that it always takes too much effort to set up -
@olback
I actually carry my 17" all day at school...
And I'm even parked a km away from school that I have to walk Everytime -
I wonder how the iPhone X takes a screenshot... Does it include the notch?
-
@olback
My laptop is a 17" xD -
Well, other than the fact that half the courses aren't even CS related (English, Chemistry, Physics, etc.), I've been taught basic coding in Java, MIPS (assembly), done some basic web designing, and now we're being taught some theory stuff (Sorts, Maps, Graphs, etc.).
There's quite a few I don't like, first, obviously the amount of extra courses were required to take not related to CS. Second, with a full course load it'll be hard to find time to do your own projects to learn. Third, the way they teach. This is probably the biggest issue I have of all, maybe I just have ADHD or something, but I find it extremely difficult to pay attention. They're so boring to listen to and always need to explain a concept in the most complicated way they can.
They spend all class teaching a concept which can be explained in 5 minutes. -

Whoops, just noticed the one I linked earlier isn't in very good image quality.
This one should be:

@ParkCity
I actually made the clock myself using Kustom Widget Maker -
I switched to Quantum. Had a bunch of tabs open and made sure to change the settings to reopen previous open tabs. Closed Firefox. Next time I opened Firefox all the tabs were gone. I closed Firefox. Opened Chrome. Never looked back.
Chrome has never failed me in it's reliability. -
I'm more annoyed by the fact that I have to take English, Chemistry, and Physics.
Math I can understand, but boy I glad to be done with calculus this semester (doing Polar Coordinates or something rn)
I'm Also concerned with the final exam... Because every single midterm so far in COSC I've had to go to the Prof and point out the mark counting errors or point out why I shouldn't be deducted marks off a particular question.
Today that happened and my mark for the test went from 74% to 100% -

Well, I tried to switch over to intelliJ and it took forever just to get the code to run correctly. I was finally able to get it working, but since my school projects aren't big, I just use eclipse to quickly do it. intelliJ often has more steps to do the same process in my experience -
@stereohisteria
And you only need to upgrade once a year! Wow! -
Yes, I don't hate Apple because of the public and opinions on it. I hate Apple because of the experience I've had with it. I was stuck with a Apple mobile device for quite a while, and I was so glad to finally get an Android, because Apple makes everything so limited. Even jailbreaking doesn't justify it.
My cousin owns a bunch of Apple devices (iPhones, Macs, etc.) And of course it's easy to say that you like it more personally. But don't come running to me when your Mac doesn't let you copy photos from your cloud. There's a reason I don't use Apple products. Not to mention their obvious planned obsolescence, and the fact that they're wayyy overpriced. -
The only reason I'm still running Windows is because of the lack of time I have to install and learn Linux, especially when I'm just trying to do something simple that's quick to do with Windows. But I'm thinking about dual booting it with Windows, how much space do you think I should partition on it? I've got a ~500 GB SSD
-
In my defense,
intelliJ takes too much work to set up -
It looks better than it appears
-
I just find Chrome to be wayyy more reliable. Especially because I like to have all my tabs re-opened when I start up the browser again, Chrome works perfectly 99% of the time. Firefox is always a gamble, sometimes it reopens the tabs, sometimes it doesn't. And I hate gambling
-
@C0D4
All the circled apps can't be used on iPhone, and most of them I use frequently -
@C0D4
I think it's look much better...
EDIT: Ugh, compression...
