gosh those linux users looks so cute. My new idols
-
Did you get a full moon? That's probably it
-
@thebiochemic Oh nah that's not what I was thinking about. That class is obsolete, you'd want to use something like NEIException or JEIException instead
-
I find the intellisense better, and their extension library has more professional tools IMO such as SonarLint and ReSharper.
-
That's cute, I like that
-
@RenoX unity project, educational tool, collection of visualizations controlled via tcp with plug n play libraries for Lua, python, and c#, for example game of life and snake. It has like 2 stars so was really uncalled for
-
@RenoX apparently he used it in the project and for some reason had it in the repo folder, then pressed "commit all" in the Github desktop gui without thinking
-
@RenoX @mindev Gawd no turns out he added full LuaDist; binaries, documentation and source for Lua and like all packages...
I'm sending him a bitchslap in the mail right now -
@alexbrooklyn not in github you can't (afaik), but i can slap my new coworker on the wrist to force a naming convention.

Thought the gif would actually play.
Here's a moving preview: https://imgur.com/BA85Sq6 -
I also notepad love

The lambdas are identical.

@PrivateGER
Haha basically a “you're working slow”/“dont get distracted by details” notice -
@Devnergy Well. 2h 'til meeting. Only one way to find out :D
As the saying goes: hope for the best, expect the worst. -
@HawkCorrigan very nice, thank you.
-
What are these stand-ups? I'm guessing not humour? Seen the word in programming context multiple times now...?
-
@creativeJuice oh yeah, typo. *Colleague
-
Gem!
-
@SteffTek hahaha ah like my projects but yours works?
-
@SteffTek usage of Netty :)
-
Hey congrats fella!!
Pop a comment here when you publish, I'm curious in your implementation :o -
@Codex404 Swedish.
Most platforms have the feature to teach the engine a new language through transcripted audio files... But I only have that much energy and hours per day -

@alanturingisgod The lang only supports expressions (with return value) to be used in an assignments RHS or for command arguments...
So no use of any void functions AT ALL.
I never knew writing one liners for everything would ever be a legit thing to practice, until now. -
I find it cute, and even better when they get totally confused when I reply with a pastebin link for the commented code.
They're like, WHAT IS THIS SITE, HOW DO I WHAT WHERE?! THERES COLOR IN THE CODE!?!
Love those moments :) -
Damn I'm so tired if I even miss a single hour of sleep. 2h would make me collapse on the keyboard
-
@helloworld ah yes the box-sizing, I use it everywhere nowadays, much easier to deal with
-
@laceytech well their philosophy is that if you forget what you were supposed to do then just go and ask again. I'm getting a well trained memory I'll give them that, but yea we should at least invest in some sticky notes ;x
-
@rockyk it is highly learnable. One of the greatest joys is when you write a kinda advanced regex without loading a single Google page. *u*

@Letmecode the solo-ness in the project is about to be gone. On Monday next week another programmer is going to join the cause, but I'll take your tip and try not having every conversation be about how messy the code is. The application needs to reach beta and it won't do that if no one works on it 🙄
