@AlgoRythm as @localjoost just commented below...
-
@Fast-Nop awesome thanks a lot !
-
@Fast-Nop very true ! I hate wp but it brings bread on the table. I have big suspicions on what shit it does out of the box but never wanted to waste time diving in it ..
-
@Fast-Nop oh yeah definitely! Just weird to see that once you optimisé your images you randomly lose points for example. It’s just happen to be random from time to time ... also, most websites I have issues with and google speed tests are wp sites .. maybe Smith to dig more on my end.. but yeah, google speed is just a bit random from time to time ..
-
@Fast-Nop showing off ! It’s not always that. I never get a 100
-
The PM cutting dev estimates by half is a standard, I've seen it so much that at the end I wasn't even getting angry.. I would double my hours knowing they would divide it anyway.
But divide by seven! Mate go out of this hell ! 🎃 -
IT is a tough world to step into, and young developers often doubt their own abilities when facing complex scenario / complex chats... and they shouldn't! Mistakes are part of life anyway!
I have to say, I'm quite impressed you told the client that you would terminate the contract. Not sure if any of my boss (previous or present) would do that for any employee..
Brave man ! 👏🏼 -
I'd sneak my way home depending what !
-
@Consolelog I'm not asking for the moon, but sometimes it just makes sense. I just feel that some people think it's not worth commenting because it's css. That assumption is wrong in my opinion!
-
@Fradow I feel your pain. The rebuild is also what I suggested ^^
-
@Fradow very true. I believe you can optimise wordpress. But that needs to be thought from the start. I just got some legacy code (quite afraid of it) and it is a no-go in that context.. Dozens of plugins, all the crap you shouldn't do is there.. :/ So my answer still stands ^^
-
@DLMousey love the inline translations 🤘🏼
-
@Flygger thanks for this. I knew most of it but I'm still pissed of 😂 and yeah, fingers crossed for this draft to pass 🤘
-
Personal projects, showing interest about new/trendy frameworks with some specific stuff you'd like to achieve with them... Always embrace difficulty and unknown things. Be curious of what you don't know.. The basics!
-
I'm not giving you a tap in the back for that. Xbox = 😨😰😱😵☠️💀
-
@bittersweet I'll just stick to .test for now, it's fine for me. But yeah, Firefox it is (again!) from now on.
Google starts to make some weird decisions I have to say. I would like to know if there's any other reasons than "we can do it so let's do it" (and piss off thousands of devs...) for Google to do such thing. Strange. -
@mzeffect yep seems the way to go since the update anyway 👍🏼
-
.test seems pretty safe
-
Same here! The shower is always an inspiring moment 🤘😂
-
Living the same kind of shit at work. But my pal isn't as clever as yours. Makes things interesting indeed.. I wish he was at least humble, if not clever,.. But he ain't. I kind of like a good clash about code. Always helpful!
-
Ha ! I just wanted to suggest some kind of plants :)
-
@C0D4 sorry to hear that
-
@RAZERZ because it's a regret 👊
-
Ethereum is probably the way to go now.. Any hints about it?
-
did he slap you?
-
@SISheogorath love that 😂🦄
-
@meowth Hehe... Believe me that's the top of the iceberg regarding synonyms, hidden files, configs all over etc.. But I didn't bother showing. That's enough of a headf**k and it gets you wondering. Enough for me to make my point 🦄
-
@meowth precisely. Synonyms = headf#*k 😂
-
@MrThompson and no, this isn't related to sharepoint as far as I know 😉
-
@MrThompson my mate probably doesn't have a clue of what a good, maintainable and deployable structure is I'm afraid.. I'm not sure he even experienced it once. But that's OK if he's open to learn from others. What isn't ok is that he's stubborn AF only in order to stick with his own preferences. I believe a good structures are reusable/understandable by any dev without too many effort in order to get started. He just loves to create exceptions and fucking random namespaces. But... Don't get me started on the details, please 😂
