All defaults. I use vim buffers to work on multiple files instead of tmux windows. It's more convenient and works pretty well.
-
That's why this platform and reddit exist.
-
The worst thing is: most of the time it's one self who misunderstood the tool. Not the tool that behaved "badly"

nixos.org

So you copy from Kelly Vaughn's Twitter. Outstanding move.

@Haxk20 I understand that this might be a bit annoying. I think though RMS does this for the reason of being very specific and to draw attention to the fact that this Linux we all love, is more than "Just Linux".
Is that all to criticise here? I expected a bit more than "he uses a different name for a thing", from your previous comment. -
@Haxk20 Well. I do think of myself as being pretty educated on the matter and would love for you to elaborate.
-
Cosby certainly hadn't in mind to please everybody.

Technically, Git is a distributed and decentralized system. The rage about the acquisition of github by Microsoft and cases like this show, that we as developers may need to think a bit differently about how and where (and where in addition), we upload our projects to. I love github; but cases like this make me think, that we don't leverage the full capabilities of the technology yet.

@unsignedint nah. It's not about being easily offended. It's about being disregarded and irritated by an ever increasing amount of small little shitty things like these. I can fully relate to op.
-
@unsignedint well I only partially agree. I mean I get it: sometimes you just have to get things done.
The lack of willingness to adhere to some standards / useful and commonly known just baffles me.
With my rant I especially had a large corporation's api in mind. I just expect more from tech corporations. What one does on a little side project or PoC, clearly doesn't need HATEOAS. -
Jetbrains just frickin know what I need from an IDE.
-
@JustKidding Germans love to hate on the weather <3
-
@frickerg wow. It's been like that for our class. ~120 ppl started; 16 graduated.
-
Let me guess. You also use arch?
-
What distro is this?
-
10x amount of bugs
-
Client A can get tf away.
-
Test, implement, optimize.
-
Okay turns out they didn't care too much and liked what I did (at least for the first part. lol)
-
Run.
-
Wow this awesome! Now you can work on something you truly care about AND get paid.
-
@vane okay you lost me
-
Well it's not that bad tbho. I guess my self esteem took a hit but that's also on me for going into it, rather unprepared. I just find it interesting how a single, minor, fuckup can have such an impact on me.
-
Oof. Just oof.

@alexbrooklyn I had 90 minutes to solve two Katas. I managed to solve the first one ~30 minutes. The second one tough had me utterly confused. I got the description completely wrong, hacking away complete garbage for 50 minutes until I re-read it and slowly started to even grasp what I was supposed to do.
