I was was always happy to help out people.. thought it might make a good impression and help me make friends. Guess what they just take you for granted and don't even show any appreciation for what I do after i spend hours out of my working day to assist them.
I figured out too late that workplace is not the fantasy land i expected it to be. Being nice and helpful is taken as a sign of weakness nowadays. They don't help you get ahead.. they just use you to get ahead

@iiii gui replacemets for cli tools are often just extra steps with less control and slower. also who would want to open up five different windows for working on a server when i can just type five commands.

so if i understand correclty, the stock price increases when people are willing to buy stocks at higher prices hoping there are other people willing to buy it from them at a higher price?
and it has nothing to do with how much the company is earning?
Also if i hold a lot of stocks in the public market and it happened so that i am the person with the most stocks overall, do i get any stake in the company? since as i understand within the company it will be multiple people splitting the other half of the stocks right?
