Happy Birthday

We don't. Nobody does as far as I know.
I simply focus on tasks for the day not the number of hours I put in.
Usually accomplish 50% of the daily tasks while trying to finish 100% of the tasks and chill for the rest of the time. -
That's actually seems like a normal sleep routine to me. You are getting a proper 9 hours of sleep.
If your work timings don't match accordingly, then you can ask for different shift at work.
I sleep at around and wake up at 11:30ish by the way. -
I actually noticed the ads on the right side for the first time after watching this rant😂

For the same reason, people are going to hate MERN stack in the next decade.
The reason why people like MERN stack now is because it took shortcomings of previous era technologies, improved them and simplified our life as a developer at present.
But there's always scope to improve further. Just as we are seeing the rise of new technologies like Deno and Vue which are improving dev ecosystem further.
Nothing is good or bad, all these technologies are just a part of the gradual evolution of overall development ecosystem. -
@F1973 Cheers mate
-
@Elyz Those are the true facts to live by
-
@theabbie Definitely
-
Looks great. Keep it up.
-
Step N+1 is my absolute favourite
-
@scriibe You can fix the keyboard shortcut for activating multi-edit in VSCode here:
https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/... -
@Root Yes it's definitely useful. Another feature which saves a lot of time are custom/predefined code snippets.
-
@nitwhiz I don't have deep knowledge of music genres but generally like listening to remakes of old Indian songs, local indie bands and their mixes or deep house music. Songs by Daft Punk are an all-time favourite. Also background scores from games I used to play since childhood like Assassin's Creeds.
-
@100110111 I did not know about Ubuntu Budgie before. Thanks for the mention. Looks cool...
I came across Zorin similarly after a user on twitter mentioned about it some time back 😄 -
@olback I have seen a lot of praise about Arch Linux from online forums.
Linux Mint is also mentioned a lot of times.
Keep it up 😁 -
Some developers have to update their windows in after working hours just to work peacefully in their office hours.
I don't understand why can't remote admins simply disable windows updater service from running in the background?
Like enable it once in a quarter if system security is a serious issue🤷🏽♂️ -
@Root Yes this practice definitely helps quite a lot during morning stand-ups.
I read 'What the f*ck am I doing' by mistake when I went through the reply for the first time😂
But yeah I can surely try this approach before starting out a project for sure👍🏽 -
@molaram Umm...Does that mean people who run there own companies have no trouble at all?
-
@vintprox Definitely
-
@hardfault That's true 😂
-
@C0D4 That is also one of the major requirements...It becomes quite uncomfortable when using VR goggle with specs
-
@Midnight-shcode That's totally true...
That's a pretty solid definition of 'feature'😂 -
@Root Yes that's totally true. Burn out is a real problem in our industry. I took a break this weekend from coding for 2 days. Took a lot of rest and did fun activities. Now feeling totally refreshed to resume back to work for this week. Hope you had a fun and relaxing weekend too😄
-
@jschmold That's a nice way to stay focused👍🏽
-
@AlmondSauce Yes...Electricity came back just now when laptop battery is just around 5 % remaining😂
-
Drop downs are always hard to figure out. In case of react it's like a implementing a different custom module
-
Either give up on gaming or work would be easy solution...
Installing two different OS or getting a separate laptop would be much harder... :D -
@dontbeevil That must have impacted a lot of users surely.
Btw Edge is soon going to use Chromium internally
https://theverge.com/2019/11/...
I will stick with stereotypes for now :D -
This is why the first two steps after booting OS for first time should be:-
1)Download chrome/firefox
2)Change default search engine to google on all browsers -
@monkeyboy Surely I will 😂
