They also acquired some kind of framework called RightNow which, according to Oracle themselves, "helps organizations deliver exceptional customer experiences across call centers, the web and social networks", which is just so incredibly far from the truth. I took over a project which Oracle consultants had started where they had implemented this framework as our Customer Service pages on our website, and oh my god. It was embarrassing how bad it was, both working with the framework as well as they code the consultants themselves had written. It was so impossible to work with that we had to discontinue the agreement before it was over. Money well spent lol.

I honestly don't know haha, but I do know that there are more girls like me out there since I know a few myself. Maybe the girl who turns every guy down would find it cute if you sent her some code that gave her some nice message upon solving it? Maybe that's cliché, I don't know, but I know that it would make that person stand out in my eyes if someone sent that to me at least! Or maybe she doesn't even know code haha

I came in to my rather new team 3 months ago as a php developer and had to start coding in python instead, and all of my 4 new coworkers were quite sufficient in python (or so they claimed) due to working with it for years. When I looked into the database handler they had built it had no support for prepared statements, so when I asked them about it they didn't even know that was a thing. They were preformatting all of their queries for all these years, in production. And they are all at least 10 years older than me with that much more experience as well. I got quite scared for the company's future after that.

OnePlus has already been rolling out their phones with USB C for quite some time. I have one and I don't have any issues at all with the USB. I for one think it's good that iPhone stops it with their lousy charge cables and instead try following the (new) standards

Some of my "developer" coworkers do this as well, but with things like "look at the (not urgent) pull request I just made (even though you also got an email notification and a chat about it just now)" and other annoying things. I say "developer" in quotes because if they were real developers they would understand how much they interrupt each time they do that.
