thank you for the library, it does solve one small part of the problem, I have gone through many such clients specific for IMAP like:

which are quite promising.

But I'm wondering if there is any library that brings all the protocols not just IMAP in one place and abstracts the API

Been using Ubuntu mobile OS by UBPorts on my OnePlus One and it works beautifully. Yes it has small glitches at certain places like carma flash etc. But that doesn't stop me from using it as a daily device. Hoping to see more support for it from the app development community

@tmpnull it is pretty much the same scene in India too. Colleges are still stuck in 1990s. Students mostly take up computer science because the Industry is growing here. Most of them have no liking towards it. There are obviously exceptions but the general majority is this.
