Aboutfullstack is in my opinion not only creating a fancy gui or a maintainable backed, but also the server that runs the whole operation

Is this how wireshark works?
-
Isn't this due to the recent changes in angular 6? (Guessing because I noticed a .ng tld)
Good luck solving, we are currently working on the same issue.. let us know if and how you've solved it when you do 😅 -
Old but gold

Some script I wrote that is finally done and is going to save my colleagues alot of time
-
Oh I exactly know that feeling, man I currently have the same feeling at work... Saving some colleagues alot of time 😏 ... FeelsGoodMan. How are you btw?
-
Oh I remember those 24h Hackathons 😂 so fun, and some were even quite competitive
Actually funny that this is the question of the week, this week I'm going to a Hackathon 😅 -
@linuxxx nah, I know you can do this 😉
Have a little faith in yourself 💜 -
😏
<?php
exec('python /location/to/python-script.py');
echo 'Job done!';
?> -
Oh man that's nice of someone to do, more people should do this.
-
@Bubbles doesn't it use LaTeX?
-
@neriald Omg 😅 yeah I meant onion... Sorry 😓
-
Very nice story, thanks for sharing 😁

Maybe you already did but try to explain security in layers, like an union layer
One layer by itself is fragile, you could crush it with one hand easily, and it will expire fast
While the whole union is strong (try to crush an union using a single hand...) It also won't expire as fast as it whould have being cut in half -
Should internet explorer not be at "rip harambe"?

Let me introduce you to Web development
-
I dunno about the rest of us but that
@ 5.9
looks sick as fuck -
@tacyarg php
-
@BadFox oh I know about docker, but what I actually want to know is how I could offload a specific tasks to a docker container
E.g. some pdf needs to be generated, so the web server offloads the task to another server (running a container with some pdf generation service) and after a few seconds/minutes serves the user the pdf
I have no clue as to how the two servers should communicate -
2x 1920x1080 24"
Or if your platform supports scaling well enough
2x 2560x1440 27" 👌 -
Pretty sick, though it would be too distracting for me
-
@netikras never thought of that Idea, might try to implement it later 😇
-
I was actually thinking of starting a development stream on twitch, thinking of creating some interactive chat bot for my streams but first I have to come up with some fun interactive shit to build 😂
-
I've seen this happen multiple times, and every time it's me and the senior who did it fixing it...
Colour code your stuff and be careful people! -
Tip (on gnome at least) you can set a terminal to read-only 😉

@linuxxx impressie

@linuxxx what is the update time like?
E.g. let's say tomorrow a road closes for maintenance or whatever, how long until the self hosted map is updated? -
@JoshBent @mt3o lol, my bad didn't stop to think OTAP is Dutch..
But the second link of @JoshBent explains it exactly:
"DTAP"
1. The program or component is developed on a Development system.
[...]
2. Once the developer thinks it is ready, the product is copied to a Test environment
[...]
3. If the test is successful, the product is copied to an Acceptance test environment
[...]
4. If the customer accepts the product, it is deployed to a Production environment -
@alexbrooklyn nope, we don't have scrum masters
-
Lol though I am curious if that would work, just slowly move the button over time?
-
@hack I loled 😂
