@Ranchonyx then maybe we are the same xD
-
I'll try it out xD thanks for the warning.
-
@kescherRant havent been in the loop for quite awhile, mainly just wanted to be productive today since I've been depressed. Now that I have it working I may try to update to 7.4
-
It can definitely be intimidating. I'm totally in the same boat regarding lack of motivation for working on projects but wanting to explore, especially during this quarantine time.
-
@Dropkick500 haha yes I got it xD
-
@Dropkick500 I use arch with deepin DE. I tried budgie DE over arch but honestly wasnt too into it. Havent tried solus.
-
@UndeadFirefly how many would you have? 🤔
-
@asgs it just might be! Also might be a sticker or something.
-
@mjones44 might possibly be a joke 🤔
-
@iAmNaN yeah my inside joke is that its developer hell, that's how I say it. Tho most people call it developer shell with the $ referring to linux shell home. And if you ask google assistant it will say developer dollar hell xD
-
If you like that type of music I made a playlist on spotify a few years ago called Developer$hell. You might like it :)
-
I love CBL <3
-
@Teknas yeah I'm actually already using that tag. It's only dark grey atm but I'm gonna create those tags dynamically from my script so that they match the navbar for both dark/light modes :)
-
@AlgoRythm interesting.. I was doing some debugging with winload and for a reason I havent figured out yet, window.onload = function(); is seamless across page loads whereas window.onload = function; causes this crazy delay type flickering across page loads. No console errors on either command tho 🤔
-
@AlgoRythm thanks for tip again, I went ahead and updated the script. I can sleep peacefully now xD
-
@Alice great idea :) I just used the moon as a placeholder for testing purposes. Also i didnt have to worry about dynamically changing the icon or colors so it was easier to debug.
-
@AlgoRythm that's good to know thanks! Yeah I mostly just kept trying things until they worked xD revision is much needed.
-
@asgs yeah this wp theme is already bloated enough xD so vanilla js seemed like a better idea.
-
@AlgoRythm yeah it's the Totally Too Popular Security protocol.. O.o
-
@Teknas he poops pretty much anywhere, but so far not on my monitors xD
-
From what I've experienced you dont mess with Linux, Linux will mess with you xD
-
I've been using deepin DE over arch for some time now and I've been pretty happy with it. Has a decent UX.
-
@irene oh the irene xD
-
Would be a nice idea in my case since all the normies I date dont last too long and seem to end with a "it's me or the computer" speech xD like minded people would be a ++
-
@devTea if you're referring to anime, it's called Serial Experiments Lain
-
@010001111 not much to it really. Its basically just arch base install + xserver + deepin DE + deepin WM.
-
@refi64 for me it was xD seems like every update broke something, but that's kind of what you expect with bleeding edge updates.
-
@refi64 That's honestly why I use linux-lts instead xD that's better to use for daily use cases.
-
@GurvirBhogal depends on your needs really. For me once I went arch, I never went back xD
-
@GurvirBhogal hmm quite a bit but I'd say the biggest difference is installation procedure, but theres also customization, upstream packages, etc
