@MammaNeedHummus Thank you. It was a birthday gift from my wife a couple of years ago.
-
Haha! I knew I would receive many fun comments on this image from you guys. The weird-looking person is me, holding my son. The photo was taken about 11 years ago when he was just a couple of weeks old. The code in the background is either C or Javascript, depending on what I was working on at the time. The blinking lights are part of a developmental version of the electronic device that I am working on.

@Oktokolo It is stripped as much as it can be. This is OpenWrt so the resulting size is about 9MB. I usually don't need to recompile everything, but this time I did the idiot thing to run "make clean" first. Took almost an hour to compile.

I’m from Sweden :)
-
@Floydimus thanks :)
-
@iiii yes it cannot compare with a real setup. But it can come close with correct chair height.
-
@Floydimus ps the ergonimic is great when you use the extra peace of plastic where you can rest your palms on. Not without it. So you must bring that with you if you code/type alot. The extra screen is a key thing for me to be more effective when coding.
-
@Floydimus na I’m not rich. On the contrary, I cant even pay my self a salary. Long story short: I owned a company with two other guys for about 12 years. Got feed up with one of the guy and forced a splitt of the company. I was the only developer so I got IP for all the tech, hardware and software and started a new company. They got to keep the existing company that actually makes money. I live on my wife now ;)
So it was my company that actually bought the laptop. But tes. It is a great setup as a complement to my workstation at the office. I do not have time for a vacation this summer. So now I can work at home and outside more and in the same time spend some time with my family. -
Another pic

It is a Asus Zenbook duo.
It has a great extra screen for some linux terminals or other things. -
@Demolishun yeah so that means the clock is digital? 😂

Do analog clocks even have crystals?

@Carbon-Monoxide yeah, I took the picture in panorama mode :)

I can learn you, it’s easy.
if(statement1 == true)
ReactToStatement1(); -
You should install large speakers instead.
Either they will get your memo or you’ll get fired.
Problem solved. -
Hey! I implemented exactly that feature in our webframework. A copy is available for paste on that user all devices instantly. Nobody use that feature though :(

Haha!

Ctrl-de@ctrl-alt-del I doubt it is a capacitor. It is namned D3 (capacitor chould have been namned C3 insted) Is the two connectors below the battery terminal? It is most likely a zener acting as a crude charger by limiting the voltage in and out from the battery. Hard to say without some probing.
Ps sorry for this late reply. -

It looks like a diode. If it’s in series with a input, it may just be a polarity protection. If it is connected in parallel it may be a TVS diode to protect it from transient voltage.
-
Let’s floor() it!
-
Nope
-
Ha! So true!
