@Kyoton I worked 25 hours a week in my day job and spend about a year using every free hour and every day off to learn code..Post progress of what I'm working on, on social media. Also on my social media accounts I put that I'm looking for a junior role. 2 CEO'S approached me and both offered me jobs :)

@yarwest thank you sir! Got 2 sites finished just need to go live (clients want little CSS changes) I'm just like...how much do I need to know to get paid every day for this..no confidence. Not really done back end but a lot of front end. Have a degree in graphic design which helps

@burswag well I guess it'll differ from the UK for me minimum wage is £6.78 and I get paid £7 when I look for jobs they're around £12-15 so it is around double the minimum wage or higher I'm just underqualified

@burswag I have my day job which is £7 an hour and it sucks, currently teaching myself to be front end developer (then possibly move to back end once I have a job)

At this point I'd take a job for that money 😔

@nblackburn graphic design is great, but I'm not a fan of print and how pretentious it's become. With developing I can take designs further, bring them to life! And I just really enjoy coding I find it very satisfying
