Do a new "the office" featuring game dev company or a smaller dev house.
The various characters you could come up with, satire, akward scenarios and office pranks are almost endless. -
I heard you are a Fire Fox, I have an extension for you...
-
@searchy2 lol I was thinking the same thing.
-
Try to find out why you aren't in the mood.
Bored? Learn something new.
Overwhelmed? Break it down into byte size pieces.
Tired? Take off work / refuel yourself by doing something fun.
Lazy? Set goals / challenge yourself.
Etc. -
@dfox .

Step 3: Use vim

Done

But it did.

@meseguer1998 Yes, true story. xD
-
@vortex 70 words not chars xD

Honest question from a lazy person.
Most of the times I come across a response like that it's because the "dev" is to lazy to learn and/or use it. -
One word: Pixel.
-
I wonder what they did in the backend side to make him roar.

Umbraco and October. Since we are in October.
-
@ivannieto I have a dev account for that purpose. 0 friends on it and is used to create apps on Facebook.
I have deactivated my personal account months already. Best decision ever. -
@svandeun In South Africa they have various companies billing us for what other countries get in a single subscription.
So we have a provider for line, another for data, another for digital TV etc. Which easily comes to $130 dollars or so.
With shows showing from 5 years back and then repeats into oblivion.
Comparatively we are one of the most expensive countries while getting the lowest quality of product/service for our money.
Furthermore, they are only in the process of rolling out fibre recently, most places don't have it yet....sigh. -
Yeah, I had this one dev do a site and then he used local host urls. So he pushed it to the live site, it was still displaying correctly on his machine. But for the rest of us not so much....
-
@tisaconundrum yes I was thinking that initially. Then I thought it would be scarier if it couldn't be found, as in vanished off the interwebs and we lived in a world without it.
-
Stackoverflow.com not found.
-
MS be trolling...
-
Sacrilege.
-
Happy Birthday! :)
-
The actuality of this thread, is actually quite proof of the OP actual rant of the word "actually".
-
Don't over think it. Just do it.
-
I feel your pain. People don't know how to have good efficient meetings. And then they want meetings for every second thing...
-
Don't worry, he will get back to the future soon enough.

@uziiuzair There is also some limitations to it which you could always point out(depending on brief), or the best is to mention it's not as SEO friendly as xyz platform. This normally gets clients to rethink things.
Either way, good luck to you sir! -
@uziiuzair You can explain to them that you will gladly use it, but because you don't normally use it for your client projects, it will cost you more time to build a website for them using it VS. xyz cms/framework, and as such they will have a larger bill to pay.
Some clients will then change their tune. Otherwise just bill them more for the inconvenience.
Either way a win. -
@Wolskie When I hear mainframe, I think 90s, so it makes sense your version control is from that era to.

Congrats on instantiating a child object!
