@MrCSharp Haha, we can hope.
-
@Fradow We use Unity to start with, in which I do switch it to "iPhone Only" (as opposed to "iPhone + iPad"). But it might be resetting it once imported to Xcode.
I actually have my own personal iMac now, so I'll investigate it before next deployment.
Thanks for the heads up. -
@Fradow
Not sure if you're asking me or questioning Apple. But we set it to not allow for iPad. They just straight up ignore it half the time. -
@mundo03
Glad you see it that way too, I completely agree.
I never blame or abuse them individually, they're just doing their job to the level they've been trained. The fault is on the company.
Plus, Apple is so pedantic with what you can and can't do. If I was in their shoes, I'd probably forget things too. -
@MrCSharp That sucks... I've never had to deal with Windows store thankfully.
It is ridiculous though, majority of the time it just ends up with us pointing out their own policy to them. So because they don't have their own shit together, the rollout process takes twice as long. -
"soggy waffle award" xD

@gitlog
Certain for the build at the time. But there was a patch a couple days after I posted that. I assume it has been fixed since, but I haven't tested. -
@fhomolka
That all being said, nothing teaches you more than attempting every aspect of the development. If anything, don't make the final product your goal for your first game, make learning your goal.
That way, you can never really fail. -
@fhomolka
Nah, I'm not gonna try dissuade anyone from trying.
The main things to beware of though is motivation. The first few weeks, you'll feel like a machine, pumping out result after result. And as a one man army there are many avenues to get the immediate result feeling. But all of that stems from the nature of prototyping.
Everything from 3D modelling, to system tools (procedural generator perhaps?), will happen very fast to begin with. But literally everything in a publish title needs to go through numerous iterations of redesigns and polishing. It's at that step you really have to be careful of your motivation.
The unfortunate thing about it is: the clearest step to regaining it, is to make new things, but that merely broadens your scope. Which leads to not only pushing back the inevitable, but creating even more motivation killing tasks.

It is really humbling tbh.
In Aus, we have quite a diverse culture base (or at least in my state), but due to no neighbouring countries, our education system puts very little emphasis on foreign languages.
Personally I know almost no bilingual people in Aus, unless English isn't their first language. -
Shall I create a list? ;p

Ouch lol...

@C0D4
Don't worry, I'm only 3 months behind you and look at my ++ xD
Been lurking too much lol. -

FF doesn't suck. The current build does. There seems to be another memory leak. Or at least, that's what I'm experiencing on 2 computers. -
@AlexDeLarge
Had to edit it to remove a location somewhat near me xD -
@AlexDeLarge
I know right...
It is real, cause I did it myself lol. I fucked up though, I coulda kept it going if I used an Aussie disposable number instead of an American one. :(
I normally fuck with ones on the phone (if I'm not at work), but recently I've been seeing so many on Snapchat. It started 2 days ago with this one (although this one I think was a bot): -

Have you ever considered that it is merely Apple's eloquently passive attempt to judge and question your browsing habits? :o
