React Native is absolutely the bestworst thing. It is a giant finicky pain in the ass. That said, you’re not the market. I feel like the market is people like myself and my one other team member. We both have zero native app experience, we are building an entire video platform ourselves including backend, front end and both android and iOS apps, essentially the work of ten people... and yet we’re moving forward. That’s where RN is an absolute godsend. But yes, in the moment, it can often feel like pure garbage.

Boot off the Linux USB you will eventually be installing. Easiest way would just be cloning the disk/partition with `dd`. If you're cool with the GUI, then Gnome Disks has a dead-simple "back up partition to image" feature that does the same thing.

@rhein7 @moolsbytheway Truth be told, the email also had line breaks everywhere and was very poorly formatted for a screenshot, so yeah, I copied/pasted it as plaintext first. This is how OCD I am.

Though I'll admit Elementary does have an Apple-esque polish that is pretty impressive... Gnome is getting damn good. Both in terms of ease-of-use as well as design, I'm actually rather impressed with how far it's come.
