He really should have used brackets to his if conditions 😂
-
@lo98be now I can see this is an assignment and not a statement. Thought of a statement. Something like "A variable is not equal to war"
-
@lo98be Compiler warning:
undefined expression at line 1: "variable = !war". Did you mean boolean condition "variable == !war" ? boolean condition "variable == !war" can be simplified to "variable != war" -
Think first before you decide to declare your war as final 😨

You should probably have an eye on your settings to success:

Well, today everything sucks on a 3GB RAM machine 😈
Otherwise you would be able to setup your dev environment on your smartphone, right? -
@bizzarist He is a boobie search result senior with more than 10 years experience 😋

@billgates sure. one the one hand the deployment process is as fast as hell for android, on the other hand there is such a weak qa from google itself.
Other side of the coin: iOS developers won't never give up to complain about apples review process. But this is part of qa included by apple itself. Hate it and be unpatient or be thankful that they take a deeper look into what you gonna provide for thousands of potential customers! -
@billgates 😁 I don't think apple is collecting fewer data from customers than Google. But they may do it more stealthy.
-
@billgates everyone has a free choice on what to go for 😉
-
@billgates what about building apps for iOS? What choice will you have then?
I'm working on an osx machine. I'm not an apple fanboy but during work I get used to it and it may be expensive but my hardware does its job. Even gradle building is going really quick. There is not much left to complain about my system I'm using to develop apps.
I think it has to deal with what kinda work you've gotta do. System admins may use unix based machines while designer may prefer apple and so on...it is not just black or white ;-) -
This is so funny 😁
-
You are treated like a human resource. Would be better for your boss to let A.I. do your job. A.I. does not need food or sleep.

@Salmakis native programming is where apps become beautiful and adorable to use because you have full access to the full power of native libraries.
Don't like that half baked Xamarin stuff at all. What if you want to customize your app to get a unique appearance on it so people would enjoy using it? With xamarin or other cross platform solutions? No way.
Btw, swift and (recently) kotlin are far away from being ugly programming languages.
They are modern, easy to read and effective programming languages. -
@Darkler but visual studio is ugly 😨

@CWins
1. Samsung out of voting range
2. It depends also on the cable you use for it
3. You are right, android devices don't like multiple operations on it during file transfer (ongoing file transfer / deleting other data on the device / copy and paste next data during transfer etc) -
@CozyPlanes Samsung is out of vote. Damn u touchwiz!
-
@CWins This is only a pain if you want to connect your android device to a MacBook for data transfer. You have to use androidfiletransfer and this is really horrible because it will automatically open anytime you plug your device into the MacBook and there is no option to stop androidfiletransfer from doing so.
Otherwise it works like charm it is just a configuration issue for the first time. -
Thank you guys for upvoting my rant. Got know access to the awesome free sticker delivery 🤗
-
@CozyPlanes what are the advantages of using windows phone over android or ios devices in your opinion?

@CozyPlanes I feel sorry for you 😕

@Hobo42 teacher update is strongly recommended due to deprecation.

Long time ago on Xcode 5.whatever I got reliable crashes and instant Xcode quits when navigating to preferences/accounts. So I was not able to log in to my account which is mandatory for code signing etc.
It ends up writing a shell script to clear all caches while clean up project and deleting derived data was not enough to solve this issue.
It was something like
defaults delete com.apple.dt.Xcode rm -rf $HOME/Library/Application Support/Developer/Shared/Xcode rm -rf $HOME/Library/Saved\ Application\ State/com.apple.dt.Xcode.savedState rm -rf $HOME/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dt.Xcode.*
Then I was able to login to my account. Once. Next time I had to run the script again.
This was really weird. -
Anyone should really know what exactly you are doing there.
It's not a bug it's a feature.
Hey guys, yes it's me and yes anyone should recognize that I do android stuff right now.
So nobody can ever tell you that you are lazy @work 🙃 -
The iPhone explosion would result in spreading gold dust all over the exploding area 😎
Whereas android device explosions would be a very tasty but also sticky experience.
Mmmmh kit kat crumbs all over everything 😋 -
There is also a reminding info pop up within the app that promotes this functionality.
