Honourable mention to service based companies presenting building software/apps for their clients as their *vision*. No bitch that's not vision that's you getting paid for building software for others just like millions of other companies like you out there.
-
@asgs I tried owly but it's not fast. The likes do not show up immediately. Don't know if to blame twitter for their apis or the developer.
-
@Santaclauze "Oh, so you follow 220 developers and 5 journalists. That definitely means you're more into politics. Here have these 100 propaganda posts from the political party which paid us to litter your mind !"
-
Well. Ideally I'd want the behavior to be consistent. I.e. If the first one does a addition then the second one should too. Or else both of them should do string append.
-
@Root Is it? All ruby developers I know are seemingly happy with the language. Can't say the same about JS developers though.
-
<?php
// Echo all your html here

@netikras android is my primary skill, but I can code in python and few other languages as well.
-
Next time you see a recruiter looking for a android developer there tell them to
import 'thecode' from 'devrant'; -

@lazyload lol, yeah. I realized it after posting the screenshot of this rant that I look a lot different now than what I used to when I created my devrant profile. So updated the avatar.
-
@bhumish got for one of my previous posts.
-
@C0D4 I guess it was.
-
@M1sf3t I didn't notice it tbh. But now that I've noticed, it is bothering me. .-.
-
Same thing happened with me today morning.
-
@kgbemployee I'm changing my job starting Feb, maybe that'll improve things, maybe not. I'm spectical.
-
@CoffeePanda I'm trying hard. Maybe one day I will feel good about things. But right now, it's pretty tough.
-
I stopped using devrant that often but every once in a while when I do open it I always have new +1s on this rant.
-
PS : This is after I scolded him for an hour for making it so difficult for me to traverse. Prior to the scolding it looked something like this.
-
@RodrigoF I know. I either use sublime or textedit when I just want to have a quick look at some file. Atom for everything else.
-
Looks like I'm the only one using atom here.
-
This comes with Xcode 9 Beta? I'm still using Xcode 8 and I don't have it.
-
I've been asked to do that like a hell lot of times. And now I'm really just pissed off of all these requests.
-
It took me a minute to actually spot where the fuck the braces were even.
-
@Cheesetouched haha. You need to be a JECRCian for that. 😂
-
@notSoSerious @CheeseTouched JECRC, Jaipur. We have a club here for aspirants who want to learn app development and we're allowed to miss our regular classes and attend the club.
-
@notSoSerious @CheeseTouched LOL. It's not actually part of the syllabus. We're taught swift under ECA.
-
@karwler +1 for the brightness part
-
Stackoverflow is definitely the easier way around because you get pretty clean and well explained answers but official documentation is still needed because not everything is on Stackoverflow and you've to sometimes read the documentation and actually find the solution for yourself, implement it and maybe wait for someone to come with the same problem as yours in future on Stackoverflow so you could answer them. :D
-
PS : I'm from India so don't ask "Who the fuck actually writes pen - paper based coding tests?" We actually do have this shit in Indian colleges.
-
@devios1 I completely feel you mate. Just gave a pen-paper based codomg test few days back on swift programming at my college and I was always in a state of doubt with all these explicit optionals and handling them.
