Kiwi browser for android - chromium browser with extensions (faster then Firefox)

@RememberMe It gets even better, in Slovakia we use "·" for multiplication, but some people write it at the bottom of the line. (even when writing by hand) this drives me crazy. 2.4 = 2 times 4
btw we use spaces for separating thousands. That is fine, at least it's not ambiguous. -
Remind me of this old Ubuntu bug report:
"Cat sitting on keyboard crashes lightdm"
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/... -
@toriyuno Still, 2.7 GB for 10 scans (300 dpi) seems too much. The gui also gets laggy at that point.

Maybe they use a hash map. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Gregozor2121 I'm safe too because I use LTE

@theKarlisK Just installed it. The power draw is the same as Chrome.
With VLC the laptop draws 7.5 - 9 W. With all browsers i get somewhere between 13.5 - 20W. (both on relatively low screen brightness). And the expected battery life drops to half in all browsers playing video.
I'm using Ubuntu Budgie 18.04. -
@MrJimmy Just configure it to open System monitor. I do that

At least test software from sketchy sources in a VM

@ladiesman I'm using Ubuntu Budgie 18.04
And I actually liked Unity. 😋 -
Cleaning the dust is fine, but besides that I don't plan to do anything. In fact I'm propably buying a new laptop anyway. This one is 17" and I need a laptop for school.

I'm not repairing it myself.
I was just watching youtube and the the screen started to corrupt, then it froze. I just thought it was a software problem, I hard reset the comouter and the display wouldn't turn on. Then I connected a monitor and I got video there, but corrupt. (that's what you can see on the pictures).
Also this rant wasn't meant to be a question, it was just supposted to something like "this just happend, ugh" -
Windows doesn't even start and just bluescreens

I'm from Slovakia. At primary school we did MS Office and a bit of theory - for example what an OS is (first time I heard about Linux). And also a bit of Imagine, Baltík and simmilar graphical programming stuff. But mostly we did nothing and played computer games. 😁
I'm going to a gymnasium now, on mandatory IT we do MS Office and did a bit of C. (the teacher didn't know anything about programming, he couldn't even ident code, or even connect projector to a laptop).
We also have IT seminar (optional subject) where we are learning basic C, but with weird emphasis on MS Windows specific code and BGI graphics.
Regarding High Schools: Czech schools are viewed as better and a lot of Slovak students study there.
I'm 17 btw -
It's fun ... until you forget how the hell it works.

Good solution would also be a separate string concatenation operator

I recommend an app called "Better open with"

@Huuugo "Source: Google" is even better

\t ftw!

I love the layout Unity has. But Unity certainly has problems - for example showing all installed apps...
