I accidentally switched the button off on my first PC. and then got a good scolding from my parents who thought I installed a virus.

I use git cli on linux/windows along with whatever version control utility JetBrains ships with its IDEs. And I don't feel I am missing anything.
-
I'm not even sure if that can happen in real life

I completed a project in 3 days with just 2-3 hours of sleep day and after completing I expected some appreciation from the boss.
But he game me another project today which has to be delivered by Thursday and went on vacation.
Forget about comp off I cannot imagine how will I manage to complete it.
PS: I worked on SAT/SUN -
Now my 4 year old laptop has some serious dents on its body and some damages on the hinge. Dell is charging almost 40-50% of a new laptop for refurbished spare parts. Ali express is cheaper but takes a lot of time to deliver plus I'm not sure about the quality.
laptop Specs
i7 4th Gen
16GB Ram
Nvidia 750M
256 GB samsung EVO PRO
I'm not in the mood for selling this laptop it still works like a beast. I can buy a new one but won't sell this till it dies, because of the physical damages its not portable and I need to make a decision soon. -
@Andi I have been using my personal laptop at work for 4 years so that I work on the same machine/ keyboard.
Also the laptops at work don't have a FHD display so I always have to connect to a monitor. -
I remember getting such programs in the exams ie. With poor indentation and then getting criticized if I attempted with code which didn't have proper indentation.

A client asked my thoughts on the same idea, and then 15 mins later he asked me to stop. There were too many apps with similar feature on app store.
Make sure you check the competition before you start. This will help you in building your USP. -

Yes its best to add gitignore when creating the repo, that is what I generally do. But there are people who open a JavaScript file using R editor or gedit.
R adds a .r_history file and gedit creates swap files.
When I know people are going to use these editors I can add related files to gitignore.
But the whole situation can be avoided if before committing developers do a "git status" and add the files / directories to gitignore. -
Does your chrome flicker? When you have a lot of css animations on a page?
