I gave him the output i create and the input he should use
He used different input and didn’t adjust his code to mine
Now i have to do it. -
@ScriptCoded Well we just "started" so the whole code base, especially the backend isn't something big.
It's re writable. That's not the main point.
The "complaint" is that i spent time learning the philosophy of .NET, got familiar with it, learnt to use Windows and it's services and now he wants to move to PHP?
Why? C#/.NET is a very good language/framework and i liked it but now he hires 2 PHP devs for what? -
@ScriptCoded I'm a uni student and one of my teachers saw that i write code mostly and Python and "promoted" me.
My manager said we will use .NET and i said ok since whatever i did was mostly Python, i will just need time to adjust and he said ok. "CEO" was fine too.
I got the backend and 1 guy the front end.
Now the CEO hired 2 more people that are PHP devs and he doesn't want to lose time.
I can't take any blame, but my manager did.
I can't understand what the fuck he was thinking about.
There are more PHP devs than .NET but he shouldn't hire PHP devs or if he wanted to do, they should learn .NET. Not hire them and make me now learn PHP, which i hate. -

@tokumei yes, fuck it and burn that piece of shit to the ground. Watching any computer using it's power to accomplish that piece of garbage makes me fuckin sad.
-
@AforAutism the comments are there, plain simple
What input it takes, what it does with and why and what output he should expect. But seems it’s hard. -
@1989 i do, the front end guy doesn't want to understand it
-
when i first installed arch it has 4k resolution and it was very hard for me to read the text so i changed it to classic 1920 without checking other resolutions.
But i read something somewhere and thought about trying to change it to see how it feels like and it's pretty awesome.
1920 felt that it wasted a lot of space -
what packages do you miss?
-
@mundo03 if i search for a way to check if the file exists and everyone recommends File.exists() i see that this method is provided by MS so i expect that shit to work like it supposed to do
True if the file exists, false if it doesn't
not returning true if it exists and false in every other case, throw a fuckin error if there is a problem.
@MrCSharp
thanks for the path, i will keep that in mind -
@arazzz well you got a point my bad but whatever
-
@arazzz ασδσφασφιασλ aren't latin letters for sure.

why would someone assign the return value to a variable on a while statement?
why not jut while !(try()) assuming try returns a value -
@nicogramm that's why i i stared at it for 5 minutes, she is a CS graduate.
well i guess she wanted to say while !(sucess){try;} but that assignment had me like what the shit is am i disabled and forgot the fundamentals -
@armaged thanks a lot!
-
sorry to interrupt but could someone tell me the font name?
-
i doubt that they were so clever.
I'm trying to make a fuckin website for our department since i need to practice my skills and since our website is fuckin trash and those fuckers make it even harder -
Something that I wanted to ask.
Can’t you make an agreement with ups for example so sending items from the shop to europe would be cheaper?
That would help. -
@Stuxnet i have an asus
it's my sisters, and it's a lenovo ideapad and i almost threw it out of the window -
It goes the other way around for me.
I started with C, then Java and when i first saw python i said "what the hell is that, get it away from me". After some time i wanted to change language since i didn't like Java and for some reason i picked Python. At first i was like meh, but it did what wanted to do. At first of course i was writing java code with python, which was ugly as hell, and counter productive. After some time i learnt the "pythonic" way since i wanted to "master" a language and now it's the most comfortable language i have used.
On new commers, i won't recommend python. I will tell them to start with C, understand some basics and then they may move on to Python.
Python can't be used everywhere for sure, but since i don't have to do something with time efficiency, it serves me perfect -
because it was late at night and i wanted to move the floating point and that's the way i thought about which was very hacky and overcomplicated.
Ended re reading the docs and finding out i can use units parameter to get it in Celcius.
Didn't even know that was the standard. -
@Fast-Nop mm. maybe, depends.
But i believe it will be hard to study those 2 languages on the same time and there is a high chance it can frustate you, so i still believe 1 langauge is the best choice. That's what i would have done, i don't tell him it's wrong to do otherwise. -
The combinations you listed don’t really make sense.
I would prefer to stick to 1 language. Since you want C/C++ maybe you can learn those 2 together. Even Rust. But again, i would say pick 1 and stick with it -
Sad that they changed from individual stickers to packs. Though their stickers are #1 quality
-
if someone wants an ide pycharm is the option
personally i use vim because i like it but i try not to suggest it to begginers, they will go insane -
no need to argue, everyone uses what pleases them
all good -
You haven't seen "/s", have you?
it's just a meme, lol -
@Frederick hi special snowflake
-
Ι just don't like the company.
They have made a lot of mistakes and so i won't support them in any way.
That doesn't mean i will criticize someone who uses it.
