@C0D4 yeah, during english listening comprehension test, all aircraft takeoff/landing is banned by the country for approx. 30min

I’ve never seen anything like that before, for a English test.

@C0D4 only in korea. Your life changes by that test, so you should understand. everyone in this country does. all companies start work at 10:00 and you can call 911 (or 119 here) to get a pickup to the test area

I heard it was in development stages there

It's painfull to think about the pressure of this exam. The whole country pauses for a while to make room for a test that is practically useless, but has a huge impact on your future. I'd feel bad raising a kid in this system.
