There's something satisfying about the raw output rather than 'We are updating your system... Done in few minutes... you dumbass'.

Verbose Gentoo updates are cooler, seeing all those compilation lines go by. I'm using matrix screensaver and feeding it real compilation logs from OBS, also kinda cool, seeing VM getting created, package compiled (with all the real commands) and then another one.

Only have one thing for this...

I enjoy the lines thrown when compiling c++ packages ( AUR )... especially which contain cmake lines and the full gcc lines as well...
