Anyone else want to improve at stuff but just can't find the energy/ambition/drive?

I work at a company where we use TypeScript. I’m a JavaScript engineer. For the past almost three years, I’ve been telling myself I’m going to learn TypeScript. I’m still literally just writing JavaScript and muddling through types.

@jestdotty I've bounced stacks so much that I kinda just scrape by in everything and just have surface level knowledge of multiple things. More and more I'm seeing listings for the experience I have and compensation I need looking for my total level of experience in one particular language or stack
