    @black-kite

    I want to have skill in web and mobile dev. First i think that i will learn that flutter thing. But after dive in web dev i hear about react native that use javascript for mobile dev.

    Is it good to just go for react so i dont need to learn new language?

    @novatomic ive been using flutter since 2017-2022 from its very alpha release and its an amazing framework. Flutter is easier to learn if you like java more. React native is easier to learn if you like js more. I hate js but i like typescript

    Worked on both RN and Flutter projects on multiple occasions and would pick flutter anytime any day. I believe most mobile app projects are built in React Native due to the availability of resource on expertise at the time.

    It seems to be used (to some extent) by the people who created it, which is a good sign. It's also used by the people who created .Net MAUI which tells you all you need to know about MAUI.

    I must admit anything touched by FB still gives me the ick though.

    @GiddyNaya

    So you want to say that RN is flutter alternative because webdev can do it too? And if that company have budget to have flutter they will choose flutter instead?

    Because nobody cares about the resource usage of mobile Apps anymore. Everything has to be an app even if it is just a browser under the hood. And also native code "runs" faster!

    @novatomic Most companies don’t know what to choose from, so it’s not entirely about budget. For them it’s the end product that matters and one of the questions they do normally ask the most is “How can we convert this our ABC web app into a mobile app?”

    Now imagine the response from a team filled with web devs.
