Project idea: AI that transforms Indian English speak to regular English speak live. Imagine what this would mean for call centers and YouTube streams.

I'm myself way too stupid to create such thing sadly

What I'm complaining about. Listening @SidTheITGuy for more than a hour right now on background. Oh oh - I learned the language. He converted me. I'm disappointed that he didn't mention the live stream to me. Once I pretended to be ostream coming out of the closet and I ask him to take of his shirt. He always know how to respond. He's a talent. I need new material

Edit: wrote live stream with a f. Maybe I should quit communicating for today

AI will never be powerful enough to truly understand Indian English

@devRancid yh, it should probably have the person proper hearing taking a lot to convert it live

Indian English is so bad, I understand Hindi better than I understand Indian English. And I literally don’t know a single word in Hindi.

@Demolishun old thread but... you can tell they are Indian or not with a very simple test that ive played with for years. I'm so serious im a bool of 1.(totally thinking that should be a t-shirt now). Get a chicken noise soundtrack and play it during the call like it's just normal. So far, 41 out of 43 times if it's a native english speaker they ask about it or just directly mention it... like if they studder a second then apologise for the chicken catching them off-guard. The indian ones just always ignore it. Seriously, extremely high, and hysterical, success rate.
