Work gave me a linux computer and asks to integrate an application that has no Linux support and wonder why it is going slower. The linux computer also has not enough RAM to develop comfortable on a VM

    What I found worked great where remote coding environments. For instance remote vscode. You run the VM with minimal specs, so that UI lags like nothing, but since your UI is somewhere else, it usually works well.

    @devRancid i'd also suggest to try out wine first. there are a lot of ways to do it hassle free.

    Can't you just install windows, or is it not allowed?
