Why doesn't writing code doesn't go hand in hand with a breakup ?

Like you can solve complex problems but why did not save this one

Because code is objective, rational, systematic, doesn't have feelings, mood swings, needs, etc.

Code is reentrant. You can try something, change it back and have it work the same way it did before. Part of the reason why some devs struggle so much with socializing is that we find the finality of both action and inaction terrifying.

people feel emotions when they care about something but can't figure out the logic to go from A to B that their emotions are fueling them to go in

so the expression of the emotion, the feeling the physical sensations, are an outlet of that fuel of caring

in programming it's designed for you to be able to go from A to B whenever you want it. in social things there's too many unknowns therefore if you care you'll have an overabundance of fuel and your body might have to leak that fuel out, whether it be crying or rage outbursts or drinking or whatever

here I'm assuming you got dumped because you were an emotionless robot though. cuz dudes are boring when no chemistry, and I think programmers are generally deadpan an awful lot. a girl will dump you for a lack of chemistry. just no fun. you might date them for a few weeks but then the novelty wears off and it's like fuuuuuck. nevermind then. also nihilism is very unattractive. it's only attractive to abusers who want to control people

Meh. Might be the autism speaking, but if I have to be single to keep not caring about bullshit emotional bullshit, so be it.

I absolutely do not want to deal with that kind of crap again. It was completely destroying my mental health.
