    is that brand good? I ordered RAMs from them through amazon, should get them next week, hope they are a good brand as I never heard of them before :\
  • 1
    @gitpush haven't heard anything bad about them so i think you're good!
  • 1
    @DinuD11 I checked Wikipedia before buying them and the company is around for a long time and they are well known for their RAMs, hope that wasn't a lie :p

    @gitpush
    Yes it's a good company. Although I prefer corsair RAMs just for their looks. Makes the cabinet look cool.
    This ssd was like the best deal I could get. Crucial offers goods at great prices.

    @A4Abhiraj great, hope I get the same experience too :D

    @RickDiculous179 @RickDiculous179

    @Codex404 Sorry man, it is just not a brand available in my country, here we only find: Western Digital, Kingston, Samsung, and A-Data
  • 1
    @gitpush hmm now Im probably gonna hear my own words being used against me, but A-data?
  • 0
    @Codex404 lool this is their link: http://www.adata.com/en/
    For me they are known mostly for their USBs they are good, I saw few laptops have their RAMs from A-Data

    You could heat it to become a gazous state drive and enable cloud computing
  • 3
    @omom I see what you did there XD

    @A4Abhiraj true...

    Not regretting saving up more for the nvme though (950 pro). About 4x faster than SATA.

    Really shows when Android studio builds a few thousand files :D

    @RickDiculous179
    Yeah man just read about those. I'm upgrading my desktop in bits and pieces. Sounds like a motherboard upgrade if I have to move from SATA. Seems worth it though!

    @RTRMS
    I know man. I'm just misusing my bragging rights.

    @Archang3l
    A RAM chip
    Multiple RAM chips
    Hence RAM and
    RAMs. Although I felt a bit weird as I was typing, I realized there's nothing wrong with it. Type it and see for yourself 😛

    @gitpush i have a crucial SSD and yes, they are really speedy
  • 0
    @ParkCity well I received my RAM and all is good, but one thing realllllllllllllly funny is happening and I ha EA no single clue why:
    Virtual box crashes a lot after those Rams are installed and even before I run any VM 🤔
  • 1
    @gitpush oof weird
    i have ram by hyperx, theirs performs really well. i can't help you here man
  • 0
    @ParkCity I too don't know what to do here lol
    I'll dig deeper this weekend hoping it works 😅

    Limit your swap file to 300mb for an even faster experience (in windows at least)
  • 1
    @gitpush as far as I know, many other manufacturers uses their RAM chips in their sticks. So Crucial makes their own chips and because of that they're chaper.

    Also, I've had cheap-ass ddr4 2333 rams 2x4gb and they overclocked to 2666 with lower latency.

    @arturnmk well I received my RAMs and all is just amazing luckily 😀
