A coworker was working on some code and wrote two return statements and asked a senior developer why the second value wasn't being returned.

    why didn’t he debug before asking? this is the bare minimum

    proper answer:
    "get out of my office"
    (after he leaves, call him on his cell)
    "i told you the second time to tell me if you stepped through the code and then get out of my office, why didn't you answer?"

    Im legit suprised that people like that get employed. Was this a slipup after a lot of hours of work, or the ''standard'' for that employee?
