when your IDE has so much funding and idle hands they make GUI facades over terminal functionalities

but then over time they keep releasing "features" for convenience that entirely make the GUI unusable

Biggest example was postman. Damn, they raped the F outta that great thing.

chromadb did had an investment of 10M recently. It's just a wrapper around sqlite. How to invest so much in that. On top it's made in python so development is fast as F. I wonder what will happen to the product.

sometimes cuz a corp has IP tho. I invested in something for the IP and got no clue if that will pan out. unfortunately these things take a while before it becomes a firsthand experience instead of rumour. shucks!
