If you had to use one laptop for programming on a daily basis and nothing else, which one would you choose? And I'm talking about to work and back home, and you can't use another monitor either.

The GPD pocket windows or the Acer Predator?

Obviously I'm not getting any of those. I'm just curious.

Someone as scrawny as me probably won't be able to carry the Acer Predator, and it discriminates against lefties. The pocket windows is too small for anything, but it is adorable.

The Predator. Reason 1 - 10: THE SPECS AND NAME BESIDES IT IS STILL RELATIVELY PORTABLE

I'm not a fan of chromebooks. First of all, it's Google, second of all, I don't like Chrome OS, third of all, you can't really download anything.

I'm probably too much of a lenovo thinkpad lover to have an open mind, but I don't like chromebooks at all.

    THERE WAS TWO CHOICES.

    TWO.

Nope. I could care less for presents. :)

Honestly, the Pocket Chip. Acer isn't a very good hardware manufacturer; you'd be buying a new one in a year or two.

If I had unlimited funds, I'd probably go for a Dell XPS 13 with Ubuntu pre-loaded

Okay, but it's not like anyone on devRant will use my information and kill me.
Over here, I'm not that worried about revealing any information, but on things like twitter and Facebook, I'd make sure no one knew who I was.

Yeah, I really trust the users here. :)
Or at least the current users. There's no telling what kind of people devRant will attract.
