@OXDT update with the destruction of B. Tell us exactly what happened and reactions.
-
I wonder if his pants are already shaking, being worried you gonna show evidence to the right people
-
ODXT32837yI am sorry for disappearing for a week. I didn't think this would get that much attention. Well, I have some good news and some bad news.
Bad news; B is a smooth talker and made it look like "teamwork". Also, is being pushed to finish a code requested of him (he's a senior dev). So he is basically making me do it.
Good news; I'm not doing shit without a written request, so more proof for me. I'm outshining B and getting the client involved so they know it.
Note: I think the client knows that B is a dud. But they already have a contact, and might not be able to get rid of B.
Final thoughts: I'm fucked. But I'm gonna make sure to get a kick out of it while I'm here. (I am probably gonna be making more rants in the days to come) -
ODXT32837y@kgbemployee
Well, I could say no. But since B is a senior and would require "additional hands" to get the work done. B would get the client involved, where they will assign me "officially" to help/work for B. I'd rather do it on my own terms.
Ahh yes, a bullet to the knee. "I used to be a programmer like you. But then I took a bullet to the knee"
Unfortunately, he would have to already be a developer for it to work. *BURN*
Just connect your headphones, and don't let anyone stop you! -
kiki351867yI can't imagine the situation where you need to remove someone's credit from the thing you've worked on together.
-
ODXT32837y@uyouthe "Together"
B is just someone the client hired on their end. And now me and my team have to deal with.
The Devs know who made everything, but client does not. So every communication with client (that I'm not in) it's "I made, I investigated, I found, I, I, I ,I"
Even to me once, and I said: "Yeah, I remember. I'm the one who gave you those results."
Can't really do much about it... Yet. -
ODXT32837yGood news: I just got word that I will be moved to another team!
Bad news: B is becoming more aggressive with his requests. Wants me to over some code that I've made and explain it to him.
Also my boss knows B, thinks he's the best. So that's something.

Asshole trying to steal credit for my work. Can't wait for the next meeting to light this shit.
So this client hires me and this person that I'm gonna call 'B'. B deletes my name from the comments and description. Then proceeds to present it as his.
But B can't get it to run now, so they have me have a look at it. B thinks that I don't notice that he is trying to take credit for my shit. Now I'm sitting here with evidence for the next meeting with the client. Ignoring all of B's communications.
