A comment line can save the sanity of many programmers

Making code understandable through structure, naming, comments is just as hard as developing the logic itself.
The best way to understand things is to teach them, so making code accessible for others is imo the first line of quality control.

Just an x-ample from yesterday:

for ( var item in receipients )
{
... approx. 40 lines code using ITEM
}
