olback109817yLooks cool I guess? I don't know how they can prove that they're more secure than anyone else though. What prevents them from sharing user data?
-
@olback nothing prevents them I guess, but they have got kpmg auditing to make sure, you can always check the auditors report.
Now I need to look into DoH and see if I can't switch my router to ddwrt -
@davide Read the blog post on CloudFlare's blog :) It's not a joke, in fact this service has been running for more than 5 year, they just moved it to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 today

fdgram4867y@Floydian @Linux it's not a "four level subdomain", it's an IPv4 address. The TLS cert works because it has the IP address in its alternative name.

Brolls31557y@seraphimsystems I used to work for KPMG. Not entirely sure I’d trust their auditing.

KuMa4267yOh man, going to test request for IP addresses I own
That’s pretty cool, I also think it’s not an April fool -
Awesome, it supports DoH which I've been already using on Win10 and Raspbian with dnscrypt-proxy.
Hate it when ISPs and governments do DPI and DNS hijacking! Use a DoH-enabled provider and it gets solved immediately! -
drumgimp597yGood article on the register a few weeks back on this. They are sharing data with the IP address owner in exchange for using the address:
