Next idiot who starts talking about all the "freetards" who use open source software, how "terrible" FOSS "obviously" is - is going to die a humiliating death as I bludgeon them with a steel box full of Linux distro thumb drives.

Don't bother bailing me out either. I'll do it again and again.

    God damn FOSS is horrible as Shit on toast for breakfast, who do these FREETARDs think they are putting good people out of jobs so you don’t have to pay for software.

    Hmmm... A developer against FOSS.... That's cute... And I am to believe that all of he's software was built using paid licenses and no open source code?...

    The only scenario that I can see that a developer is against open source software is one where he's overpriced project lost market share for a better and FOSS version...

    Just my thoughts...

    @mmcorreia open source != free (as in free beer)

    @irene
    I don’t know if that’s accurate
    Free beer doesn’t sell you out.

    @irene And there are people who are addicted to Facebook too 😂

    Though, would you rather I used gratis?
  • 0
    @irene when you put it that way 🤔
    But that’s in excess use, for the casual beer it won’t do anything, FB on the other hand will still fuck you over.

    For fork's sake, who would attack FOSS?

    To me, FOSS is about finding and building what works for you, not being locked into someone else's code or model (or locking others into yours).

    Does a product not suit your needs? Fine. Fork the project and change it. Make it work for you, and then share it with the community.

    It's about thinking freely, not differently.
