Q. "Bureaucracy is one of the biggest impediments in development"

I would agree, e.g.:
- I want to create a view for the table: oops, no rights, must ask admin
- I want to create an index so that my results are more efficient for that particular case: must ask admin + politics about security
- I have an idea to present: must be approved by team lead first + budgets + blah

I find that if things are done this way, business becomes slow as snails. Walls everywhere.
