Pair program with the smartest people you can find.

Build cool shit on your own time.

NEVER even bring you home laptop to the office. Protect your IP and don’t let it ever see you employers wifi.

Get a little better each day.

@mkdirLuci4 depends on the client and stack

@leanrob lol did your ex-company hack you or what happened?

My advice: stay up to date. Only now and then look into new tech instead of relating on your experience (that's from me, a newbie)
Because I seeing old dev recommending table layouts, <font> tags etc, it hurts

So you do shit that isn't software?

PHP, JS and .NET sound web technologies to me.

Don't get hung up on one CMS. Don't get hung up one the latest and greatest JS Frameworks. Use PHPStorm or WebStorm. Use tools. Learn bash. Get used to doing stuff in vim. Get a hang of deployment.

Keep it fun, keep it lighthearted if you can.

Do not mass technical debt. Try to keep that minimal.
