About how much math do we talk about? Complicate triple integrals and idk set theory (or other complex theories) or just basical things like sums, interpolation and matrix multiplication?

I want at some point to get a taste of deep learning too and i am curious, sorry for this questions out of nowhere 😅

@KennyTheBard judging from my university experience, you will particularly need stochastic, linear algebra and optimization. But I guess it depends a bit on your use case.

Oh and we are talking LOTS of math. I consider myself reasonably proficient in these fields and I dropped out of statistical ML and deep learning, because I couldn't take it any more.

Guys, I have math knowledge and the knowledge is I am not very good at it. Will that suffice?

@KennyTheBard You'll need: probability/statistics, multivariate calculus and linear algebra. Some more advanced algorithms might require knowledge of other subjects like topology.

@alanturingisgod thanks dude!! This might actually get me to try to learn uni math beyond the need to pass
