C0D4681457y@AlexDeLarge the charge for multiple platform I did see about an Android app ported to iOS.
As for the wordpress one, well beats me 🤷♂️ -
monr0e12527y@C0D4 so I can magically turn an APK into an IPA? Wow! That must mean I didn't have to spend three months refactoring and rewriting an app to meet differing standards and a completely different framework!

C0D4681457y@monr0e was it your rant? 😐
I don’t remember.
All I remember is someone saying they had an Android app built in one of the cross platform studios, and had to port it to iOS and charged the same amount for the port. -
There are bad apples on both sides, it's not a black and white issue. My two cents is that there are more clients who incline to be assholes than devs, and I'm not saying this just because I belong to the latter category.

Windys747y@AlexDeLarge this sums it up well https://devrant.com/rants/1270248/...
And there was another link in the discussion to the post that got me triggered as examples -

Might still be pretty green when it comes to mobile development. Honestly didn't expect cross-platform could be that simple
Rant about devRant.
I hate to see two types of posts:
1. “Haha, i added a WordPress existing theme and charged customer XXXX EUR”, “Idiot customer, I had cross platform app and I charged for each platform”, “lol, they wanted to negotiate the payment, I connected to backdoor and shutdown down their servers”
2. “Why does customer not trust our estimates?” “I told him he does not need to worry about this comparability”, “they are asking about security of the hardened server, are they nuts?
First you treat customers dishonestly and then expect them to trust you and rely on your expertise. Before you constantly complain about the customers - look at yourself guys.
