Yesterday was the first day of my final exams. (They are scheduled this whole week) First exam was programming on paper and it went surprisingly good. I'm pretty sure i made one or two minor mistakes but overall it should work. (3 tasks: program a calculator; program a car-showcase program and explain quicksort) We had 3 hours to do this and even though i needed them i didn't feel any pressure. That was really nice. Thank you for calming me down the last days/weeks and ensuring me that i can do this.
I hope today's going as smooth. Exam of the day is networks. Wish me luck^^

@Condor this was btw the same teacher i've been ranting about the whole time.
The calculater wasn't that hard to do. The car-showcase thingy was much more to write. (3 classes, at least 6 methods and a whole bunch of other stuff.) Took me 5 pages of paper. And i'm not writing very big

@Condor it is. And i wasn't even allowed to use concept paper. So you can guess how much tipp-ex i used😅

3 hr for 3 questions 🤐 that's a lot compared to what we get.
It is mostly 15 min per question, and the questions are harder 🙂.
But we are used to writing code on paper🤣.

@ceee i'm pretty sure you are better trained than me/my class.
3 hours weren't that much compared to what we needed to write.
And i simply don't understand why you should write whole programs on paper. Writing some logic or code snippets is ok but whole fucking programs? (Justified with: "every serious dev does this") no I don't think so.

(And for the "harder" part: i just started programming about a year ago. Sorry that my final exam wasn't "hard enough")

@KittyMeowstika hey you got me wrong.
We are not trained well at all ,any Indian ranter wd testify this.
The professors barely teach us anything, and no emphasis is laid on practical work,no matter what one does ,no credits are given for it. So our exams are tough , because it's the only thing they care about and we always have to write the code on paper no matter how long it is so we are used to it.

@KittyMeowstika I agree that writing this whole program on paper is illogical we are all sick of it, but that is how our system is.

@ceee i'm sorry. I didn't mean to attack you. I was just a little bit hurt because of that "harder".
Our lessons are devided into practice (which is with a - old as fuck - pc) and theorie. Only theorie- exams are on paper and we had 6 of them over the last term.
It's awful That you have to write everything on paper. I hope you find a way to stay sane (because i'm absolutely sure one can lose their mind doing this)

    @KittyMeowstika
For my first year I cribbed a lot ,but now even the sophomore year has ended and now I have become accustomed.
