Demolishun3750716h@Lensflare What?! I always found them reliable for the most part. Haven't used bluetooth though.
-
Demolishun3750715h@BordedDev I can't remember, but I think I had a gaming mouse that the switch went out early it seemed. But I also had the same issue with Corsair.
But the logitech keyboard/mouse combos I use as work have lasted 6 years. I just had to replace mine I got when I started in 2018 a few months ago because of the mouse. Sometimes right click doesn't work. -
D-4got10-01108115hDitto on the Logitech being reliable for me.
Then again, maybe I'm just lucky.
OT: Yup. I tried using Bluetooth mouse && keyboard w/ my PC-On-A-Stick. They worked unreliably, w/ lag or something like that, IIRC.
Chose to upgrade to wired connection, since that one just works. -
BordedDev152215h@Demolishun Yeah, I use one of their more expensive mice g903, I replaced it recently enough to replace the switches on the old one also because of the right click. Never got round to doing it, though. With me, it tends to be the scroll wheel starts to gum up before anything else. The last one lasted nearly 4 years I think
@D-4got10-01 I find their proprietary connector to also work very well. I can't tell the difference between my mouse when it's wired or wireless (yes it supports both, doesn't just charge when wired) -
Demolishun3750715h@D-4got10-01 I do have concerns over Logitech's forever mouse though. I hope they don't make their regular line less reliable to sell those.
-
D-4got10-01108115h@Demolishun Huh. I had to catch up w/ the concept of 'forever mouse'.
Well, that idea sucks from the consumer's perspective.
Yet another area that wants to sell you subscriptions.
It would be terrible, indeed, if they started basically sabotaging the older hardware to push the consumers towards the new model.
But I guess we just need to wait && see how it all plays out. -
Lensflare2022515h@Demolishun It‘s been a long time since I had Logitech products but I had mice, game pads and speakers. Every single one broke electrically or mechanically within 1-2 years.
The gamepad was within warranty so I replaced it with a new one with the same model. It broke in exactly the same way as the previous one.
I concluded that all of their products are garbage designed for planned obsolescence.

Bluetooth sucks pretty hard. Can't use a Logitech mouse and Sony headphones at the same time without interference :(
