People are saying to improve you need to ask questions. In case you don't have friends that are in IT, who do you aks questions? Those silly ones that google can't answer? I don't want to go to SO, that place is toxic, and asking a dumb question on devrant feels like a waste of peoples time as well. Is there a platform for alone-ish developers to ask more experienced devs questions? without being shamed to death?

@electric-ghost I don't know, just feels like it. You know in person the answer would be said in 20seconds or something. It feels weird not having a friend that you can ask a stupid development question. You know?

20 seconds to answer are my favorite type of questions 😉

Ask nicely. If someone doesn't want to answer, they won't.

    If someone wants, they will.

You can buy a programming book, look up the basics for the language of your choice, and then implement your first little project. Use the book for "how do I do this in this language" questions. At least, that's how I learnt C.

@J-2FA I don’t see why not? There is a question tag, and people could use it, if others don’t want to see it they can filter that out
