when you figure out a solution to something, do you think it's you who figured it out or did "inspiration" come to you somehow, out of nowhere, with the answer?

    What does this even supposed to mean?
    In the context of figuring something out, how is inspiration any different from "I figured it out"? Is inspiration something external?

    That inspiration still requires having knowledge of the matter. Less knowledgeable people won't be able to solve the problem. So it's you who figured it out.

    I usually just wonder how many people already figured it out, but never put it anywhere, so the solution sits in someones abandoned projects folder already. Just like it will now sit in mine!
