Is it a bad sign when after an interview they say they have more candidates and that they'll get back to me after?

@forE and there I was yesterday daydreaming that I'll get hired on the spot and already had properties I liked in mind which I would call to view straight after so I could move to London asap 😂

There could be any number of factors for then to say they'll get back to you. One is that they really need to get the time to do so. My employer usually wants my input when someone speaking my language applies and then gets back to them after I've gone through their language tests that we have got hiring.

And of course, they might just have more candidates.
